The City University Club Fabric Fund
Looking forward to the next 125 years
In January 2019 the City University Club moved into our new home at 42 Crutched Friars, leaving behind our base of over 120 years on the Cornhill. Since we moved in the Club has established itself in the local area and, until Covid-19 forced us into the same closures as other similar hospitality venues, saw the membership grow and lunch sittings filling up.
Now we have returned from the pandemic the Committee has resolved to refurbish and completely overhaul the interior of the facilities. To this extent, the Committee has established the ‘Fabric Fund Committee’ to lead on fundraising and provide the Club with the resources necessary to complete the project and ensure we have a club ready for the next 125 years.
How To Support Your Club
You can support your Club in a number of ways. Please do buy a ticket and come to our 125 Year Celebration on 20th May. Click here for information on buying tickets. Even if you don’t attend on the night you may still get lucky on our silent auction prizes. Details of the prizes and how to bid for them will go live on the 30th April.

The City University Club is delighted to announce a special ‘honours board’ for our members to become a member of. Over the coming months and years we are inviting members to donate to the Club and, in return, have their name featured on a new ‘Members Honour Board’.
The cost of having your name and year of membership displayed on the Board is £125.00.
All the proceeds from these donations will go towards the Fabric Fund.
