The City University Club 125 Year Anniversary Dinner

Dress Code: White Tie / Black Tie

Venue: Trinity House, London

Date: 20th May 2022

Time: 6.30pm for 7pm seating

The City University Club is delighted to invite members to attend our 125 year anniversary celebrations. The Club was established in 1895 and has, over the last 125 years, seen enormous changes in the City of London and the country as a whole. One thing that hasn’t changed, however, is the CUC’s position as the most exclusive and premiere lunch club in the City. We are very proud of our heritage and to mark this wonderful anniversary the Club committee has worked hard to organise a special Members-only event at Trinity House, near the Club, on the 20th May 2022.

We very much hope you can attend. Because of the restrictions in numbers and the anticipated high demand, the Committee has restricted ticket access to 2 per member. You can purchase a ticket two ways, either by following the link below on our new website’s Members Portal, or you can pay in person at the Club.

The ticket cost is £125 per person.

Our Guest Speaker

The City University Club is excited to announce, with just over one week to go, our special guest speaker who has agreed to address Members at the 125 Anniversary Dinner event at Trinity House. The Hon Paul Scully MP is the Minister for London as well as being a Minister in the Department of Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy. As a London MP he has seen first hand the changes in the City over the last 20 years and, in particular, the recent Covid pandemic.

We are delighted that the Minister will be joining us to share his thoughts with us as we reflect on our long history in the City.

The Silent Auction

As part of the 125 Year Anniversary Dinner celebrations, the Club has secured a number of exciting prizes to be auctioned to Members. All funds raised in this auction will go towards the Fabric Fund, which is aimed at raising money to fully refurbish the new Club House and improve the offering for new and existing Members.

We are delighted to publish the list of excellent silent auction prizes being generously donated by Members and staff of the City University Club. Please find a list of the prizes below – but also note that we are in negotiations for more to be announced on the 20th May.

Bidding is simple. Note the guide price and, on the evening, submit your auction bids using the slips on the tables.
