Candidates must be proposed, seconded and have six signatures of support. However, wine tastings and other events are held frequently to enable persons interested in joining to meet Club members.

The annual subscription depends on age and location of residence or business. The rates, including VAT, for 2007 vary from £165 to £775 for the calendar year. New members pay pro rata of the the year's full subscription except for persons under 26 who are entitled to six months' free membership. There is no entrance fee.
